The application fee is non-refundable. Candidates must also pay applicable transaction charges and 18% GST.

• Note: No charges for UPI and Rupay Debit Cards.

• For Non-ITI Category: Passed Madhyamik (Class 10th standard or equivalent) with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 40% marks in Mathematics and Science each.

• For ITI Category: Passed relevant ITI course (NCVT or SCVT) from recognized institutes and passed Madhyamik (Class 10th) with minimum 50% marks in aggregate.

Selected candidates must meet the medical standards as prescribed for Apprenticeship Training.

• Medical Examination: Conducted by the Ordnance Factory Medical Board.

• Standards: Must be physically fit to work in a factory environment. No specific height/weight table is typically released for apprentices, but general fitness is mandatory.

• Not Applicable: There is no running or physical efficiency test for this apprenticeship. Selection is purely merit-based followed by a medical check-up.

9. Mode of Selection (Detailed)

The selection is done on the basis of a Merit List prepared separately for Non-ITI and ITI categories:

1. Non-ITI Merit: Based on the overall percentage of marks in Madhyamik (10th standard). In case of a tie, the candidate older in age is preferred.

2. ITI Merit: Based on the marks obtained in both the ITI and 10th standard (usually an average or weighted score as per YIL rules).

3. Document Verification: Candidates in the merit list will be called for verification of original certificates.

4. Medical Exam: Final selection is subject to passing the medical examination.
