6. Educational Qualification

  • Qualification: Graduate degree in any discipline from a recognized University/Institute approved by AICTE/UGC.

  • Declaration Date: The result of the degree must have been declared on or before 31.12.2025.

  • Language Proficiency: Candidates must be proficient in reading, writing, and speaking the local language of the State/UT they are applying for.

7. Selection Process (Detailed)

The selection will be based on the following stages:

  1. Online Written Test: An objective-type test consisting of 100 questions.

  2. Test of Local Language: Candidates who qualify for the written test will undergo a local language proficiency test (unless they have studied the language in 10th or 12th).

  3. Document Verification (DV): Checking of educational and category certificates.

  4. Medical Examination: Candidates must be medically fit as per the bank's standards.

  • Negative Marking: There is no negative marking for incorrect answers.

  • Medium: Questions will be available in English and Hindi (except for the English section).

9. Reservation Criteria

  • State-wise Reservation: Reservations for SC, ST, OBC, EWS, and PwBD are applicable as per Government of India guidelines within each State/UT.

  • PwBD: Reservation for candidates with benchmark disabilities is provided across categories.

10. Age Relaxation

Relaxation in upper age limit (28 years) is as follows:

  • SC / ST: 5 Years (Up to 33 Years)

  • OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 Years (Up to 31 Years)

  • PwBD: 10 Years

  • Widows/Divorced Women: Up to 35 years (Gen), 38 years (OBC), 40 years (SC/ST).

11. Stipend & Duration

  • Training Duration: 1 Year (52 Weeks).

  • Stipend:

    • Metro Branches: ₹ 15,000/- per month.

    • Urban / Semi-Urban / Rural Branches: ₹ 12,300/- per month.

12. How to Apply (Step-by-Step)

  1. Portal Registration: Visit the BFSI Sector Skill Council of India (BFSI SSC) portal or the PNB Career page.

  2. Registration: Register with your email ID and mobile number.

  3. Apprenticeship Portal: It is mandatory to register on the NAPS portal (apprenticeshipindia.gov.in) or NATS portal (nats.education.gov.in).

  4. Fill Form: Enter personal, educational, and local language details.

  5. Upload Documents: Upload your photo, signature, Aadhaar card, and degree certificate.

  6. Pay Fee: Complete the online payment based on your category.

  7. Submit: Save a copy of the final submitted application form for future reference.
