NTA JEE Main Session-I Result 2026
Short Information :National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the result for the Engineering Course as B.Tech/ B.Arch. Through JEE MAIN (Session-I) Admission 2026. Online applying process for NTA JEE Mains Admission Online Form 2026 were accepted from 31 October 2025 & the candidates can apply till 27 November 2025. NTA JEE Main Session-I Result 2026 Released: Download Scorecard & Check Cutoffs
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially declared the results for the JEE Main 2026 Session-I (January Session). Candidates who appeared for the Paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech) and Paper 2 (B.Arch/B.Planning) examinations conducted in late January can now check their NTA scores, percentile, and qualifying status on the official portal.

2. How to Check JEE Main Session-I Result 2026

Official Website: Visit jeemain.nta.nic.in or ntaresults.nic.in.

Login Link: Click on the link titled "JEE Mains 2026 Session-I Scorecard Download".

Enter Credentials: Provide your Application Number and Date of Birth (DD/MM/YYYY).

Security Pin: Enter the security captcha as shown on the screen.

Submit: Your scorecard will be displayed with your subject-wise NTA scores and total percentile.

Print: Save the digital copy and take multiple printouts for the counseling process.
3. Understanding the NTA Scorecard
The result displays the NTA Score (Percentile) and not the raw marks.

Percentile Score: Indicates the percentage of candidates who have scored equal to or below that particular candidate.

Normalization: Scores are normalized across different shifts to ensure parity in difficulty levels.

Rank: All India Ranks (AIR) and Category Ranks will only be declared after the Session-II (April) results are out.
4. Qualifying Cutoff for JEE Advanced 2026 (Expected)
To be eligible for JEE Advanced (for admission to IITs), candidates must fall within the top 2,50,000 ranks. Below is the expected percentile cutoff based on Session-I trends:

5. JEE Main 2026 Session-I Toppers
NTA has released the list of candidates who secured a 100 Percentile score in the January session.

6. What’s Next After Session-I₹

Apply for Session-II: If you are not satisfied with your Session-I score, you can register for the April Session. The best of the two scores will be considered for the final AIR.

JEE Advanced Preparation: Candidates meeting the cutoff should begin focused preparation for JEE Advanced, scheduled for May 2026.

JoSAA Counseling: The common counseling for IITs, NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs will begin in June 2026.
