5. Educational Qualification

As per the official notification, a candidate must possess:

  • A degree in Pharmacy or Pharmaceutical Sciences OR

  • A degree in Medicine with specialization in Clinical Pharmacology or Microbiology from a university established in India by law.

6. Physical & Medical Standards

Physical Standard Test (PST) & Efficiency Test (PET):

  • Unlike police or uniform services, this is a technical administrative post. There is no PST (Height/Chest) or PET (Running) required.

  • Medical Fitness: Candidates must be in good mental and physical health and free from any physical defect that might interfere with the efficient performance of duties. A medical checkup will be conducted before final appointment.

9. Reservation Criteria

  • Domicile: Benefits of reservation (SC/ST/OBC/EWS/Local Resident) are strictly for the permanent residents of Jharkhand State only.

  • OBC Certificates: Must be in the format prescribed by the Jharkhand Government (Khatiyan based).

  • EWS: Income and Asset certificate valid for the current financial year.
