5. Educational Qualification

Candidates must possess the following qualification from a recognized University as of the closing date:

  • Essential: Master’s degree in Science OR Master’s degree in Agricultural Sciences.

  • Preferred Specialization: Candidates with specialization or research experience in Post-Cocoon technology, textile chemistry, or silk technology will be given preference during the interview.

6. Physical Standards (PST) & Efficiency Test (PET)

  • PST / PET Status: Not Applicable.

  • Since this is a Scientist (Research) post, there are no specific physical efficiency tests (like running or jumping) or physical standard measurements (height/chest).

  • Medical Fitness: Candidates must be in good mental and bodily health. Shortlisted candidates will undergo a standard medical examination by a Civil Surgeon before appointment.
