BPSC Lower Division Clerk (LDC) Typing Test Result 2026 Released

The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has officially declared the results for the Typing and Computer Proficiency Test for the recruitment of Lower Division Clerks (LDC) under Advt. No. 04/2025. Candidates who qualified in the Mains examination and appeared for the skill test can now check their qualifying status on the official BPSC portal.

2. How to Check BPSC LDC Typing Test Result

  1. Visit Official Website: Go to bpsc.bih.nic.in.

  2. Home Page Notice: Look for the link titled "Results: For the post of Lower Division Clerk, B.P.S.C. Typing (Computer) Skill Test (Advt. No. 04/2025)".

  3. Open PDF: Click on the link to download the result PDF containing the roll numbers of successful candidates.

  4. Search Roll Number: Use Ctrl + F (on desktop) or the "Find" tool (on mobile) to search for your roll number in the list.

  5. Save Copy: Download the merit list for your future reference during Document Verification.

3. Qualifying Criteria for Typing Test

The typing test was mandatory and qualifying in nature. The standards set by the commission were:

  • Language: Hindi.

  • Keyboard Layout: Remington (Krutidev) or Mangal (as specified in the admit card).

  • Speed Requirement: Minimum 30 words per minute (wpm).

  • Accuracy: Maximum allowable error was 1.5%. Candidates exceeding this error limit were disqualified regardless of speed.

4. Selection Process Recap

The final merit list is prepared based on the marks obtained in the Mains Written Examination, provided the candidate has qualified in the Typing Test.

6. Important Guidelines

  • Final Merit List: The final list of recommended candidates will be published after the completion of the DV process.

  • Waitlist: BPSC usually maintains a small waitlist to fill vacancies if candidates fail to join or are found ineligible during DV.

  • No Re-evaluation: There is no provision for re-evaluation or re-counting of typing test marks/speed.
