6. Educational Qualification

Candidates must fulfill one of the following criteria:

  1. B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing / B.Sc. Nursing from an Indian Nursing Council recognized Institute/University; OR

  2. B.Sc. (Post-Certificate) / Post-Basic B.Sc. Nursing from an Indian Nursing Council recognized Institute/University.

  3. Registered as Nurse & Midwife with State / Indian Nursing Council.

  4. Diploma in General Nursing Midwifery (GNM) + 2 Years' Experience in a minimum 50-bedded Hospital after acquiring the educational qualification.

8. Physical Efficiency Test (PET)

10. Mode of Selection (Detailed)

The selection is conducted through a two-stage Computer Based Test (CBT):

  1. Stage I: NORCET Preliminary: Qualifying examination. Only shortlisted candidates (5 times the category-wise posts) will proceed to Stage II.

  2. Stage II: NORCET Main: The final merit list is prepared based on marks obtained in this stage only.

  3. Document Verification: Scrutiny of original documents.

  4. Medical Examination: Final fitness check.

10. Reservation Criteria

  • 80:20 Reservation Rule: As per the decision of the AIIMS Central Body, 80% of posts are reserved for female candidates, and 20% are for male candidates.

  • Horizontal Reservation: 4% reservation for PwBD candidates.

  • Caste Reservation: SC, ST, OBC, and EWS reservations are applicable as per Central Government norms.
